tonight in Boulder it crapped out on me. damn good fok though
that was my old fork, gotten at motorama. Lasted ALMOST year, with medium use....those tubes are literally as thin as 2 piece of paper, i nearly shat myself when i looked inside.

I had that happen to a rigid fork that was on my XC bike. It only bent 90 degrees though, not all the way off!!

the first picture was taken about 5 minutes after the first crack, and directly following a 5mph run straight into a wall...
On my XC bike, the first time it folded in a tiny bit near the top of the fork, could barely notice it. Then, a decent amount so it extended the wheel base a bit, lol. Then we got out a camera and had fun with it, doing little wheelie pops, then we got it at almost 90 degrees sticking forward. I will ask my friend if he still has the pics...
