A suspension fork, oil/coil 50-80mm travel, 9mm QR dropouts with magura mounts and disc mounts. :x:
magura mounts? ew
no i wouldn't. i do ride mod, but if i did ride stock i still wouldn't. rigid is the way forward. and like dan said-magura mounts would be poopey on a suspension fork. it'd look like crap and i'd rather own a disc if i were to put forth that kind of money for a fork
No, i hate maguras. It would have to have v mounts and even then, i would hate a suspension fork for trials
suspension seems like a waste of money and energy.. its just flashy and gimicky..
you lose some much power transfer from the sag.. and for what? a heavy front end? nah man.. ridgid!!!!!!
just land softer... thats my two cents..
maguras = not my thing.
squish = not my thing.
it would be safe to say that i would never even think for a second about getting a fork like this.
WTF? Have you seen the Koxx days video? We should model our bikes after Vinco and the Koxx monsters. :drool:
haven't seen them, but the weights have come down signifigantly in the past two-three years for sus forks... IT just seemed like a cool niche market, manitou now makes a dirj jump specific black fork nowadays, I thought that a trials specific squish fork would be another amuzing marketing gimmick. :dunno:
short travel, light, options for magura's or disc, pretty colors, whats not to love...
Travel? Nah. Put the travel on your squishy bike... and for gawd sakes, put on more than 3 inches... more like 8!
