Hey guys,
Sorry it took me so long to get on board. Glad I finally found this site though.
Anyway, looking at getting a new bike -longer one-. Is it really worth the chips? I wanted all the Colorado crews advise on this. Right now I am riding pretty well, still can't up for crap must be the chinese in me.
Us chinese can't up like all you Japanese riders, anyway, is the longer bike worth it? How is it for people my height? Just wanted to try something different but new frame is a big step, especially since there is nothing wrong with my bike. Anyway, hope you're all doing well and in good health, I'm outta here in late April, gonna take a three or four week road trip on our way back to Oregon, Colorado is the first stop...see ya then. Seth.

seth, I bought a Woodman a month or so ago, and instanly noticed a difference with the longer frame. I had a planet x before, and on my first ride on the woodman I ewas uping and gaping farther. I think it is worht it for sure.
Honestly, if there is nothing wrong with your bike, stick with it. Longer is good for some things, schiester for others. Unless your going to just ride rocks and UCI, stick with your current setup. Or at least just get something inexpensive like a woodman.

Wow, this is one gay emoticon :Wavey:
Dave, what length is the woodman? how much was it?
Graham, I suck at street riding anyway, i really like UCI style and ride 95% rocks these days. So still leaning towards a long one, just want some more feed back from the Colorado crew, seeing as how I know most of them I trust thier opinion....and yours too. Seth.
Seth- the woodman is cheap, and rides really well....whats missing? Strength!! Keep this in mind when thinking about a new frame. If you want to keep costs down I would stick with your echo pure, the longest one they make ( 1080??? I don't keep up with the echo stuff...).

The longer bike is so worth it its not even funny, people who don't ride longer bikes are just handicapping themselves when it comes to natural.
seth- i got a koxx 1100 now and it's honestly cheating. you will not be dissappointed.

Hey whats going on, Seth? welcome to the form. The crewkerz jealousy is prob out of your price range and the bb is bit higher than what youre used to.

The echos are really decent frames with quality welding for reasonable prices...

Inspired are more like "real bikes" with seats and are great quality. best of luck
Wow, 14 year old post bump. I thought all the old posts got lost in the great hack
