    peeps,

So, right now I'm riding a stock Crescent frame that, until now, has suited me fine.
The problem is that I'm 6'7" and feel really cramped when doing anything other then gaps. Even with gaps, the landings often feel sketchy since I'm so mismatched with the little frame. I have about $400 to drop on a new frame and I want something with a much longer front end. I like the short stays on the Crescent.

Any sugesstions on what I should look for would be cool.

    thanks,
    Jeremy

Vinco is the longest one out there. 1112 or something like that. Then you also have Koxx LB1100 but those things are almost double the $400 you got. Then you get into the 1080~1090 range with the BT Raven/Echo Pure/Koxx LB1065 and those frames range from 430 to 700 or so.

The longest bike out there is probably the Vinco Promodel at 1115mm WB.......and the Koxx Levelboss 1100 is up there too........

Thing is these bikes are a lot more than 400 bucks!!

You could try to pick up a used levelboss 1100?? that would be a good idea.......

There are other bike though that are in the 1080mm WB area that would work for you to.........Like the BT 5.0, Echo Pure 1085mm, Echo Control 1085mm.

You have a lot of options out there as the UCI long bike thing is super popular now, as a result it benefits you tall guys.

you can always get one of the 1080mm wheelebase frames and put a longer fork and or stem.

Insiders told me, a Polish company will release a very long bike (+1100mm) in the future.

It's the one Rav is riding in his practice vid isn't it??? that thing looks long...:eek3:

The length thing should stop in my opinion......it's getting out of hand.....Anything much over 1080mm is just too long....imo

New tested BT frame much longer than 1080mm but I'm not tall like Vinco and I can do much easier tricks than my last 1080mm WB.
    I'm 176cm high.

WB it is part of geometry spec, you have to add olso BB high and CS.

Vinco frame 1115 WB but BB extreme high I think about +80mm.

If standard frame WB 1065 and BB -5 and stem 100mm/10 deg so if you add 50mm to WB 50mm to BB and 50mm to steam the main riders positon on the bike will be this same but bike feeling totally different.

In my opinon longer bikes good for more experienced riders, for riders which can make use of this "length". Beginers during fist 2 years never try touch hop on 120cm or 150cm wall..

I'm glad they're making longer frames. Not all of us are 5'6" skinny light ass riders

Ken C is 6'7" (I think?) and he seems to love his Coustellier.

    I'm 6'4" and I ride a Vinco... it's expensive, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Yeah, i'm 6'7", and love my Cous. After riding an echo es3, the cous just feels so much better (especially the length). The WB on my bike comes out at about 1090 or so I believe. It's just shy of 1100. I have ridden Evan's Vinco, and liked the ride of it, with regard to the length. But I do think that there is a limit to how long bikes can get while still being usefull.
