Just curious what everyone's rear hubs are. Mine is some no-name brand that I can already feel starting to die. I'm hoping to get a Hope when that happens
Well I have a deor right now on my crappy not trials full suspension bike I am riding for trials right now... But I plan on putting a king hub on my bike when I get it... Eric
King is amazing. You will buy it once, and always have a fantastic hub. I had a Deore. Worked for a while when I was learning. Once I went to the king, I will never go back. My problem now, is I'll always replace any of my hubs with king DOH$$$!
Some people I have run into knock Chris King, but I've had mine for a few years now and love it. At first it kept loosening up on me, but that was my own fault for not adjusting it right! No problems since that (over 1 1/2 years ago). King! :bigthumb:
King. Get the HD version with stainless freehub and you'll be set. Never gets loose and you'd have to be a 350 lb monster to break it.
I am getting a new RB Design hub called Reactora.I think that one is the best and it is not so expensive :ugh2:
Reliable, well built, low engagement Hope XC. Replaced my Lx freehub body on shimano XT. And all the "brilliant" Hope service that comes with it, i haven't had to send my hub off yet, but if i ever do im sure they'll do a top job and it'll all be free-ish!
,its broke.. its like 30 years old man.. it has won meny races .. and a few trials comps now it is retierd
