I've recently moved permanently to Perth from the UK, and with the better weather here I'm wanting to get back into trials again. I'm hoping that someone will have a slightly older bike that has a decent spec that they will sell for a good price.
I can't really spend a lot as I'm currently building a house and money is tight, so looking around $500 or better, preferably in Perth to avoid paying postage. I've ridden 20" and 26" before so will consider anything really.
One of my friends is also keen to give trials a go so maybe a 20" would help as he's learning.
Anyway post or pm me what you have sitting around unused

Just remember postage in Australia can get expensive.

I sold a bike in the past to a guy in WA, postage from NSW was like $300. That's using a courier without having any accounts.
If you no anyone you could get it cheaper.

I do have a 26in echo that's for sale. It's a little bit more then $500.

If you do want more info shoot me a pm.

$300!? holy moly. smartsend.com.au is one that a lot of people (including myself) have used and they've got pretty solid rates on bikes. Door-to-door from Adelaide to "rural" NSW came to $60-ish and if it was just a couple of suburbs over in Sydney metro then it would've been around $40, and it came in like 2 or 3 days so if you're getting something interstate then I'd totally recommend them.

That's good to know.
I ended up finding a cheaper way to send it.

It's shit, rocked up to the local place and there like this is it. Would do it cheaper or anything.

i've got a couple of bikes at home i'm keen to get rid of mate
both 26" Rulong and BORN frame. both complete needing minor repairs to get going (mostly just tweaks to get running smoothly) just not sure what postage to you would be as said above can be expensive i'll hit up the local bike shop and see what it would work out to be could be expensive due to being in perth (from what i've heard just mentioning perth and freight in the same sentence can hurt your bank account) but let me know if you're interested and i can flick some details through to you in an email or something with some pics.

also i have a 24" street BECAUSE bike complete if you're wanting a street rather then pure bike.
good luck mate!

I've sold a fair amount of stuff online privately and through ebay, the rule of thumb is that anything to WA you can generally double or even triple the price of shipping. :squint:
