So I made a thread about my hand being all weak. Two doctors determined I have a severe nerve damaged due to too much pressure applied to the middle of my palm. Basically my index finger & thumb was weak so...they had to cut it open & relieve the pressure.

Here is what they did after I passed out with a shot. May not be appetite safe :ugh2:

The wound is actually all healed up but just need more time for the nerves to grow back & hopefully my muscle will regenerate...

Oh ya the white stuff is fat and the dark string thing is the blood vessel :naughty:

sucks that your problem turned out to be pretty serious man, what's happening once it all heals and strengthens up? will you be able to go hard on it again?

those pics are sick but kick ass, if i had an op like that i'd surely want some just to say "hey, want to see my operation pictures?"
    how did you get them?

Yeah, I went ahead and tagged that with a *NWS*

Sorry to hear about your hand, but it sounds like it should feel a lot better in a little while? Also, look at those calluses :eek3: You were definitely riding some trials before this happened ;).

wow thats amazing! so you were not asleed or shot up with anistetics at all during this? :ugh: ... oh yeah, i dont find that all that disgusting, the things that make me squeaming are when the thing wasnt meant to happen, like somebody having their hands blown off, but in this there is no flesh and bone or anything dangling around and crap. thanks for posting thats cool :)

Thanks Bill for putting NWS. I'm fine now, the wound is healing up very fast.

I had no idea this was happening...completely put to sleep, they numbed my entire right arm & went to work with forks & knives.

Well right now I'm doing hand exercise & have to massage my hand few times a day so the scar tissue doesn't attach to the tendons & cause further problem in the future. But in about 4~6 weeks I should be able to ride again.

There is absolutely no way I could be a doctor because I cringe and get queezy just looking at that. I hope you will be able to ride again soon.

    Thanks guys...

My wound is closed up it just looks like a normal cut that's trying to heal...I went for a 'little' ride to practice basic balance that wouldn't stress my right hand. Cheesy but until I can start riding again I have to be patient

Please tell me that isn't Carpel Tunnel surgery. I have C.T.S. in both wrists, and also bilateral ganglian(sp) cysts (both wrists). I've heard nothing but horror stories aboutthe surgeries, and those pictures might confirm my fears. I'll deal with it, and just take a month off or so when it acts up again. plus, my hand specialist waskinda cute last time, and I enjoyed the massage:naughty: . Heal up man, and take your time too.

LOL it's funny cause I always get that answer "Oh so you had the carple tunnel" at work LOL.

I had a severe nerve damage on my right hand near the left side of the palm & that cut off the nerve connected to the muscle between my thumb & index finger. I guess the doc said it pretty much all connect to other fingers from there...

So that's why they had to open it up & relieve some pressure. Guess it's not permanent but I have to be careful & he said to use more "padding". Hrmm. I thought the Oury grips were pretty comfy...
