i was wondering if the technique you use to tap something at 30 inches differes from that or 40? i read somewhere that this was the case as recently ive found just adding an extra pallet has totally killed my tapping it just wont work :(

go faster, pull harder? technique should be basically the same all the time.

just remember to hit it low

As stuff gets bigger you will need more speed and sometimes to tap it a bit harder and throw your body/bike higher. It's like pedal upping.. as it gets higher its still fundamentally the same technique- just more effort and momentum

Of course as you get higher the tap point will change too
