I need new a new rear V-brake. The Shimano LX I've got seems unusable.
So, I need the Single Digit 7, Shimano DX (impossible to find?) or the SRAM 9.0??

If I can't find any of the above used, I'll just buy a deore with replaceable pads for 10£ new...

Could I stick with the Shimano LX levers I've got until I break them?

    Ooh, DX, 11$. That's value :)
Too bad I live in Norway, shipping would kill me. I think.

NO, SRAM brakes in IMO are rather crappy, they develop flex really easy. Look at the Avid SD7 or Ultimate, those are good and the SD7 is like 25 USD.

    Get an SD7.
Mine works wonders.... enough to make me decide to never go back to Maggies (I used to be all for maggies)

well, I don't know about the 9.0, but I have tried the 7.0 and IMO that's the best V-brake I've ever felt.. I guess the 9.0 works just as great as the 7.0! try'em..? :)

sram stuff breaks constantly. the plastic they use cannot take a hit from what ive seen. The avid material is alot better... maybe not anymore since sram owns avid. i have not seen any of the new sram brake stuff.
