I am gettýng a rear dýsc maýnly for wet rýdýng but ýt may be used ýn the dry. It ýs for the rear so wýll need to lock up well. I have around £100 and am lookýng at the mono m4,c2, louýse. Are these any good or ýs there somethýng better lýke hayes for around the same prýce.

Do not suggest a maggýe as I have one already.

avid cable actuated has outstanding lock up. it is simple, cheap, and functions great.

what the hell is with the Y's? and is your frame strong enough to use a rear disc/will it be covered under warranty? get an avid. hayes might be overkill? plus the levers feel shitty compared to something like a magura lever. to me at least.

i wouldnt call hayes overkill, id call them shit, and i dont think an avid would be all that great for the rear, ive seen the adapors snap before, unless you got rear post mounts like brett

avid is incredible, and whether or not it's on the front or not doesn't matter.
