Hey whte raven, when you went to Lugano did you by any chance meet any trials riders from there? I'm going to a amall villiage up in the mountains very near to Lugano for a little vacation in the spring, we have friends there. I'm gonna bring my bike cuz when I was there earlier this year I saw assloads of amazing riding spots, rocks and boulders galore...
so did you meet anyone there that I could maybe get in touch with?

thanks!

Planetary,

Im going to Switzerland around spring time as well, probably will use my spring break to do so.

What village are you visiting? I cant remember exactly where I am going, but it's a small village somewhere near Zurich, Ill find out. If coincidence treats us right we can hit up some world class riding spots. (what the heck, this smiley wasnt animated when I clicked it, now it looks like Im trying to be debonair to some dude)

all of the guys i met were more from the zurich area which i think is the other end of the country. lugano is right next to italy and zurich is right next to germany? its not exactly a huge span of distance if you needed to maybe meet up with some of them though. i didnt get any contact info from them but im sure you can get in touch with marco blau from vtcz.ch for some rider hook ups.

sorry i couldnt be of more help. you are going to have an amazing time!i havent been to many places in the world so far but lugano and flying over the mountains to get there were definately breathtaking! having your bike there can only add to the kick ass-isity

in answer to White Raven and Sonic
The villiage is called Verscio and it is really close to Lugano. I probably won't be able to go to Zurich during that time but who knows...maybe I could arrange a day trip to meet up with you and hopefully Marko Blau and some of the Zurich riders...maybe...

I will be in Zurich in two weeks though but unfortunately without my bike...

kick ass-isity is my new fvorite word.

a little more info... the actual site of the world championships was at a place called Monte Tamaro. it wasn't a ski area i don't think, but it had a chairlift that went up the mountain. i doubt they left up the rock and log sections at the base, but if they did you are in for the ride of your life. walk up towards the highway and go through the underpass and you will see where all the natty sections were on the hillside there. and remember to tread lightly because you will be on hallowed ground!

I doubt they left up the sections but even if they didn't there is so much riding around there that it won't matter.

Yeah, Sonic, once it gets closer to your trip post some info on here and maybe our trips will happen at around the same time.
