purpose of running rear tire up front?

    does running a rear tire up front give you any advantages over a regular front tire on a mod? i was just thinking about that... maybe it helps with balance with a bigger print up front like that, i dunno. anyways, lemme know. thanks -dustin

    I run a michelin comp24.1 2.2" on front. It may be heavy, but it grips really well and is so stable that to me - it seems worth it. If you're just riding urban though, you could get away with just about anything I think :).

    yea, same.

    the bigger, pinch resistant tire gives you less worries

    Especially if you are sloppy with taps/ huge front wheel gaps (like cole :momaru: )

    Plus when you are on a super angled rock staring death in the face, you don't want that shit to slip off.
