Yeah, it was a blast! It finally convinced me to throw a riser on my mod and HOLY SHIT it's amazing now, which is partly why I haven't edited any video yet – it's been too much fun to put down. I can't say leaving my camera in the corner recording was a great idea, but hopefully there are some decent clips and stills from this mountain of footage. Ugh.

Hey all, I just moved from Chicago to Portland. I rode trials a couple years back, but fell out of it for a while. I've been wanting to get back on the horse, and I figure a new town is as good a push as any. While it could use a tuneup, I have my bike with me. Looking to see who else rides in the area, if any meetups happen, where the best spots to ride are, etc.

Check out Ira Keller fountain downtown, really fun urban spot. There are also a couple other good fountain/plaza spots a few blocks south of Ira Keller.

Hey handiman! Check out PSU, Waterfront (SW Ankeny & Naito, don't ride weekend days due to Saturday Market), Lovejoy Fountain, Ira Keller as Ross mentioned, and Vera Katz (east side of the river). NE 52nd and Alberta has a great skatepark with fun trials features near it (i.e., a playground). PSU and the Waterfront are my favorites in summer though.

I ride more BMX now then I used to, but I'll be back in Portland near the end of March for some riding!

The Bend trials crew is coming to Portland again for our semi annual group ride Sunday Feb 19. Starting at Ira Keller Fountain at noon. Hope to get some of the locals to come out!

Hi everyone!

Unfortunately I have to share some bad news: last weekend my blue Gu 26" bike was stolen from my garage in Bellevue, WA. It seems like there are non-zero chances that the bike may end up in Portland because this is what typically happens to bikes stolen in WA. Given this a unique trials bike, if you spot it on the street or on Craigslist or anywhere else, please let me know!
