It would work... but there are much better rims. If you want wide, get a TryAll, if you want strong, get a 521. As for the front... a 521 is lighter, stronger and only 2mm thinner than an LMF - so id go for one of those
if you want somthing to break a lot get a 521. i don't know how thees things got a rep for being strong. the BMF is a great rear rim. slightly stronger than the Try-all yet a bit narrower. for the front, a tioga factory DH rim wold be nice.
