not if you have big hands. i like them, the lockons are much softer and stickyer, and i have small hands and still like them.

I love em on my DS/DJ bike.... but for trials I'd never run em

Too big and stuff.... arent 'connected' to bike as much

I've run them for years before getting my ODI lockons.. there's even an OURY version of those now too. Great if your hands wrap around paper thin grips way too much. Very comfortable... and cheap. I've still got some for backups in case I strip out a lock for my ODI's. I don't have little hands so I guess they're not 'too big' for me.

They're great on my DH bike, but far too large and cumbersome for trials.

I had it and my hand is large but it was still uncomfortable for trials so I got some thin grips. It's definitely nice for non-trials, absorbs a lot of shock and very grippy.

I love them. My favorite grips.

Well they are not too thick. Having a thicker grip keeps your hand more relaxed when gripping the bars so it is better. When you have a little skinny grip you tend to squeeze overly hard yet your grip isn't as strong as that with a bigger grip.

they come in tuns of colours and last quite long for a sticky grip.

  11. I'd agree with everyone else they are great grips but too big for trials

why exactly do small grips help? i don't notice any difference between thin/fat.

well i do really, with thin grips i get sore wrists, sore fingers and lots of blisters.

I find that with smaller grips I have more control over the bike.

ya i get crazy blisters with my tryall grips so i wanted to maybe try the oury grips to see if those would maybe help prevent blisters.

If you've got the money.. try the Ruffian or the Rogue lock-ons... not as flexy a rubber compound.. but still nice.. and better bike feel on your bars but not too thin.

I have big hands and needed something that was considerably bigger. Love them... I'll be putting them on my other bike as well.

I use Oury grips for more than two years.
When I used thinner grips my hands ached very much after some hours of riding.

If you have big hands, like me, then Oury grips are perfect.

I'm 6'4" and have proportionately large hands, but hate Oury grips for trials... guess I'm just the odd man out though.
