I've been searching all over for a suitable photo album software and I've finally found a good candidate. The user database has been synched with the forums, so there is no need to re-register or anything. All users have been granted 10mB of space, but as you all know, I am always available to my members, so if you fill it up and need more - just ask.

    Albums are here: https://www.observedtrials.net/album

If you have any problems with logging in and out, clear your cache and cookies, then re-login.

    Some simple Rules:

1.) Let's try to keep off-topic images to a minimum or completely out of it. If you're uploading a bunch (or all) of off-topic images, I may delete them or remove your image posting priveledges entirely.

2.) If you need more space and your images are on-topic, I have no problems granting it to you, so just drop me a PM, e-mail, or post in here.

3.) No nude images or anything illegal as defined by U.S. Law.

4.) If uploading copyrighted images, you must have the owner's permission.

Some quick things to cover/interesting features

[IMG] - Returns you to the thumbnails in this gallery.

[IMG] - this will display exif (or metadata) information. After clicking this, scroll down the page to see more image data. This is typically saved with all images with digital cameras, so long as you don't edit the pictures in a program that removes exif data or "save for web..." in photoshop, the exif data should remain intact.

[IMG] - Start a slideshow. You should REALLY check this feature out, its by far the slickest slideshow feature of any web app I've ever seen.

[IMG] - Send this picture as an e-card to a friend. This will just e-mail the picture, your name, e-mail address, and a message to a friend.

In Admin mode you can add albums, edit pictures, upload pictures, etc. In user mode, you don't have access to do this.

User mode just makes things a bit cleaner, and you don't have to worry about accidentally deleting one of your albums or pictures.

It's not the easiest to learn how to use at first, but you're allowed to create your own albums, delete your own albums, upload and delete pictures, etc. Give it 10 minutes of your time to learn how to use it and I think you'll really like it. You can make practice albums and upload a practice picture or whatever.

The album is there so users can upload their pictures and share them with everyone else. The image uploader was great for this, but it didn't really allow for archiving of images. New users will find it easier to find pictures of readers rides, trials comps, group rides, etc.

It's here to stay, so if you take the 10 minutes out of your life to learn how to use it, I'm sure you'll end up liking it.
