Hmmm, I always go for a deep grind, but mine work considerably better than the yellow plaz pads. You can really notice a big difference between the plaz and koxx when it's dusty too. Plazmatics always sucked when they got dusty and I don't see much of a difference in braking performance between clean and dusty with the koxx pads.

It's definitely worth upgrading if you ride much natural, if you're just riding urban, then wait until your yellow pads are wearing down before you order koxx pads.
