Monty stock with a 26" rear wheel?

    I've heard of adaptors similar to maggie to v idea so you can run a monty rear wheel on a regular trials frame. So I guess just do them backwards to run a real wheel on a Monty?

    We are talking Monty here...

    Although maybe they have to have the 26 inch wheel for UCI rules???

    Monty does makes an adapter to run a 26" rim in their stock frames. I couldn't find a picture of it, so I drew one up on paint. The adapter is pretty close to the drawing, so it should give you an idea of how it's made. The two big holes are countersunk, so the bolt heads don't get in the way of the 4 bolt brackets. They sell them for like 35-40 pounds, which is ridiculous. I would get one made instead of buying these.

    From T-F I've seen a few people's adapters to run normal rims, using anything from VP pedal cages, to actually making an adapter. Here's a link to a topic where a guy made adapters for his Monty Urban, incorporating a booster into them, as well as allowing the use of a narrow rim in the frame:
