Michelin Hot S 2.2

    Is this a good front tire for urban trials? I see it on all the Koxxs and stuff. Looks good and its light.

    Yes. It's a good front tire. Decent tread, grip and puncture resistance.

    like ive said a million times afore, id rather have a michelin comp 24.1 or a maxxis on that shit, the hot s is fold o matic...but i never ride only urban.

    You require a Mich Comp on the front? Christ on folding shopper - how unsmooth are you?

    ah, sorry, didnt notic taht he said "front" tire...however, i am very unsmooth, because i just got a maxxis on my front..ahaha

    I run a hot s, however I also run a thorn tube in it...with regular tubes I flat every ride- just from gapping to front on very sharp rocks. Haven't flatted in a few months with the thorn tube- plus it makes it feel very plush. I've pumped my psi up to around 19-20 as well.

    i have never had a single problem with my hot s unless i didn't have enough air in the tire.

    I run hotS 2.2 with standard tubes, works the shiz...we don't have VERY pointy rocks around here...

    i think its safe to assume that the 2.2 hot s is fine. i am saving mine for when the butter comes.
