Maxxis Maxxpro 60a compound...

    Is this compound any good? my last ST wore out in about a month, and i'd like summat a bit longer lasting. Any views?

    works fine. its not as soft obviously. if yo uride more urban than this would be a much better tire. it wont do as well on natural though.

    I have the 2.7 Roller in 60a, definately less grip than others in natty which is why I am changing very shortly.

    The 50a doesn't really win any prizes either on natural. I'd shoot for at least 42 if natural is your game.

    I have been riding the 60a for a good all around mix of natural and urban and have been really happy with it. It has been much more durable than Maxxis' softer compounds and the traction hasn't been an issue for me.

    i love the maxxis 2.5 high roller 2 ply 60a, the best tire ive ever ridden

    Fair enough, just they are mucho expensivo over here and they're heavier and don't feel as nice IMHO. Each to their own...
