Well I just saw it in chris' video, where can I get one?
that wasint a front tire.. and you cant get them, thats why its in his video because he is mean
there is a front tire. it matches the rear. they are not out yet... to the public. after interbike 04 they should be available.
heh, i can't wait. after having my try alls for 4 months....and having them be awesome, except for the fact that they are NEARLY BALD! should be nice having an even better tyre according to kevin
the try-all tire is very good. much much much better than anything else publicly available right now. they are as good of a rubber compound i think. the maxxis tread pattern i feel is a better design and the sidewall perfomance of the maxxis is better in my opinion.
about the tread- if you have a monty tire off a bike laying around, take it and squeeze it in your hand- simulate what your tire does when you are on rear wheel. the knobs fold in together against themselves. the maxxis tire has knobs that bend in to create one massive effective knob that spans the tire width. montys dont do this. echo tires just plain suck and the try-all tread pattern doesnt do much aside from look like a ritchey vader.
keep using try-all tires until the maxxis ones are out. you may even find you like the try-alls better. they are far far better than anything else right now and they are readily available through Graham and Webcyclery. they will definately hold you over until next year.
yes im definately content with the try alls. especially since i went from the super old school monty x lite tyres (with the gum sidewalls wich are sand-ish colored). the try alls do have great grip, but the down side is them wearing fast. o well, i guess i'll go ahead and get another pair in a month or two, and hopefully those will last until the maxxis tyres are out
