Nice bike the new stickies look cool.
Did you have the long version before?? or was it the short version? The one you broke.
Is it riding any different than your old one?
Enjoy your new ride.
How did you get those pads??? and did maxxi sfinally release those creepy crawlers or you got a hook up from kevin.
the new frame rides the same as the old one very good, and the old frame was a long also.
the pads are from tim, he wanted me to test them out or somthing. and no the maxxis tires are still not out yet . i got that one from a friend.
thanks for the replys guys.
That looks mint, i am loving how people are puttin a 19inch rim up front now so they can run a larger tyre.
i only know of two people who did it, me and chris p..
and i did it first bitch!
Fully sick bro
Very clever (both of you) puttin 19" rim on front.. makes sense though hey?? I'm going to try get ppl onto it
You bastard rim copier. Not really, but you have the same rear rim/tape combo as me (black and red) only without the King hub. Your bike is very similar to mine, the main differences being the front brake, headset, and front wheel. I like your style.
Whats up with your front lacing pattern?? How long have you been running that like that, it looks really cool, but I'm scared of it a little bit. Also the 19" front wheel is a super cool thing, that tire looks beast on the front, nice bike dude
looks like radial on non disc side and 2x on disc side. Many people i know do this, saves a bit of weight. the forces of a disc brake are strong so radial lacing patterns are not reccommended, but since this ed guy is smooth, he can get away with running radial on the non disc side.
If you take a closer look, you'll either see that the non-drive side is not normal radial lacing, it's got a slight skew to it, I'm thinknig it's a sort of twist on radial lacing. My only problem is that I think it'll produce a wierd tension on the wheel in the long run. I'm not bashing anything, just asking a question about it. Looks kinda cool to me though.
weird - that's 3x on the driveside though.
what is the advantage of having a 19" rim and such a fat tire up front?
grip, stability, sexy?
its 3x on the disc side and the spokes i had were to long on the the non disc side are offset. and its a 32 hole hub and a 36 hole rim, so that it partly why it lookes stupid.
What kind of Maxxis is that on the rear? Is that the same one Kevin used when he rode mod?
Maxxis creepy crawler, yes.
Noice, very noice.
