    Kevin,

Had a quick question about your St. Blaise. I just saw some pictures in the Gallery area of your bike from the Colorado springs comp. It looks like you use Middleburn cranks, but what is the rest of your setup? Bashring? Chainring or freewheel and size? and bottom bracket?

Once again, just getting an idea for my setup.

    Aloha

middleburn rs-7 arms with the pro trials bashring/chainring (one piece integrated) set up. it's a 16t up front going to a 14t int he rear. i run a try-all bb which is 127mm wide. hope this helps.

16-14 isnt that hard? I run 16-17 and I thought my gear felt harder than most peoples.

aaron- i would believe 18-17. that sounds good. i definitely run 16-14 though. it is the "super pro trials" next i plan on running mega hyper awesomer tubes... pfft. clever name middleburn. oh well, they work.

think and shaved? i only raced road for one season. plenty long enough to know i hated it.

I forgot what my front cog was. I am running 18-17, makes that 16-14 alot more logical.

i know tons of people who start out in trials with way too hard of a gear. a lighter gear may feel goofy and weird but for a lot of people i know it helps them out tremendously in the long run to change it up a bit. i ran a 20-18 and never felt better. other stuff is close but i really liked that gear combo for some reason. fit my style well i guess.
