At motorama i put a couple big dents in my downtube because of my tire slipping on the road barrier. Theres like 1mm left on the tire. Pics later.
No tire levers? I have a Michelin on one of my wheels and I know how hard they are to remove WITH tire levers. It looks like you will have to go with plan B which is to buy a new rim, unlace the wheel, and relace your hub and the new rim. Since you have been usung a Michelin for a while it will be interesting to hear your comments about the Maxxis. I have a Maxxis High Roller on my other wheel and I have been happy with it. I can't really pick a favorite. They both feel different, but I have never pinched either one and both have great grip.
Thats nothin. I'll get a pic of my old Larsen I just barely got off the rear wheel. It was right bald and in some places it had the brown showing cause there wasnt even rubber left. Still gripped better than a lot of tires as long as you were on rear only, horrible if on both wheels.
yeah i got the red showing through on my kujo's, no grip whatsoever. and Andrew, get hard with the tire levers, i have never owned any...
ahem, and by small you mean frame? lol i'll try and post pix of my old monty tires, literally no thread left (if i remember right)
I swear you oughta have passed begining photo 101 before you're allowed to touch the upload button...
I wasn't talking directly to you Andrew, but regardless there are still ways to get it to focus, like backing up maybe
I'd take more pictures, but I can't afford film and development these days, so photography has been pushed to the side for the mean time. Scanner wise, I have a flatbed/negativ/slide scanner that I have access to, perhaps I'll scan some old slides I have from boulder last summer some day...
