Dig it... i need to build 5 of these, can it be done !? I figure steel sheets, bend and bang to shape then basic weld ?? How hard can be ?

My idea is to build the base out of rocks, see if i can score some old big iron tractor stuff that may work... form the round skirt out of a 4x8 sheet of ????

I agree with above. Four flat tapering sheets will be far easier. Just keep your heat low or you will burn through that sheet metal quickly. What welder did you end up getting?

nothing yet. Too much life, here some photos from today;
