I currently run the super thin Monty foamies, but in the past I've used lock on ruffians, and even the ruffian MX, but they seem to be too fat for me. What are your favorite hand grips? Do most of you run the lock-ons, or are there some others out there I might not know of yet? My problem is that no shops in Maryland stock a good selection of grips, and mail order for a pair is a little stupid because of shipping charges and what not. Just shooting for some reccomendations on decent thin grips. Thanks in advance for your assistance

Ihave Grab-On Foam grips...pretty thin...they work out and don't twist...although, I'm ready to try something else.....not because I don't like them or anything, but just for variety purposes to find out what works best...

Bought Soyo grips today :D they are sick in 3 ways, they are LONG i can cut them i 2 and put one pice on each side of the bar and still it looks normal, they are Thin and grippy and they make your hands hurt much but i can live with that.

I have ridden with Monty foam grips, they die quick if u fall and a rock or whatever hit them. but i did maneage to not trash my first pair. i liked them but then tend to die real quick

    Azonic Super Waffle soft.

Soft, grippy, nice, not too thin, not too thick.

try-all grips for me. everybody gets used to what they run, so it doesnt make much difference. i will say that thick grips are trash though.

hey thing is that they arent REALLY thin, like soyos. they try-alls fit my hands perfectly. i would ride nothing else, ever. but i am used to running them. some people probably hate them.

I like what everyone else hates.. the big fat lock-on Rogues
    [IMG]
I've run OURYs which were soft and grippy but still thick... and a few different really thin grips which gave great feel but were really small for my hands. Tried the Ruffian lock-ons which were really nice but still a bit small feeling, then Rogues.

The lock-ons have the stiffness at the core that gives close to the feel of a thin grip but are big enough to fit my hand well.

I'm running the Ruffian lock-ons. Nice size for my hands, and they have a similar feel (to me) of the thin grips; just bigger.

I used to run Serfas dual compound grips on my first stock bike. They're still on there, but too squirmy for the riding I do now. Still like those for my XC bike though.

I love the S&M grips. They're grippy, slim and long. They wear fast but its a grip.:hsugh:

The micro-fine texture on S&M's new grips is perfect for bare-handed riders as well as those who prefer wearing gloves. Dual-ply Krayton.

If you're not running lockons.. your grips MUST be glued to your bar or else slipping/moving. Some more than others.. but always stick them on with somethin. I like hairspray.. easy to get them back off. Extra hold old lady Aqua Net.. aerosol!!!

tzimon, your must is a little too stressed there. i dont know anybody who has lock-ons, and i dont know anybody who glues thier grips. and obviously, there are no slipping problems. i sued gatorade propel water to put my grips on because it was sittng there and i needed somthing to make it go on easier. isuppose the sugar formed a light adhesion.
