Going to be building my first frame, looking for design ideas.

    It was fantastic. They somewhat did bounce back/handle it pretty good...but come on...you shoulda fucking known plastic wasn't going to bear that weight...fucking morons.

    Why would anybody, if they knew it was going to break/wasn't structurally sound sit on it?

    from the automotive standpoint (which is what I do) plastics are awesome! with amazing ability to control flex and make neat shapes. and yeah, it Can be strong, but just like metals there are give and take involved... for instance many new cars use plastic for radiator support, bumper reinforcements, and other structural parts... plenty strong but usually (atleast 2 of the 3) big, heavy, or expensive.
    Cool idea... poor application haha

  6. Heat extruded plastics vs injection molded plastics are worlds apart as far as structure integrity and uniformity...
