So I finally got the frame and decided to take some pictures before I will devirginize it by building it up. This thing has some mega standover height and is rather beefy. I think it will take a lot of beating to crack this puppy. Unfortunately I don't know when another batch will ready for sale so it might take a month or two before anything new happens. Enjoy the pictures.

Nice and smooth. No seat tube to cause unecessary pains

Dedicated cable housing for the shifter and the brake (opposite side). No more running of full length housing.

Nice, I was thinking of getting one of those frames. Post some more pictures when you get it built! I would like to know if the wheelbase measurement given on the BT website is accurate. I don't think the welds are too bad, the glare from the camera flash makes them look bad.

Other than the welds, that bike looks sexy. Are the welds just poop, or is there a THICK coat of powdercoat or paint on there?

You guys are just use to seeing welds with no paint on them. Those are good welds strengthwise.

..umm, I'm a welder..and, really, the welder went too slow, built up the bead, and then sped up, not to mention he went in two different directions

The welds on the cable routing looks clumpy...well maybe too much wire fed....

Yes, let's argue about the welds. Very nice way to make the guy feel great about his new frame guys...

if you're fucking using MIG on a bike frame, you should be FIRED. TIG and NOTHING ELSE.

It took me 3.5hrs to build this up. Had to use a spacer on the BB as the chain ring would not clear the yoke. This would not be an issue if I had a 54 BCD chain ring, but my cranks use 74 as the smallest. At any rate this bike rides quite well and requires virually no effort to keep on the rear wheel. I guess I will give a better review after more miles on this beast.
As far as welds go. They are not as pretty as the ones on my Gary Fisher mtb but they seem to be alright and strong. Most importantly the frame has no alignment issues like some PX or Echo bikes.

    Some pics of the rig
