Looks exactly like the first bike I learned to pedal kick on... fun times. Stepped on this guy's Brisa mod after having trouble finding the spot on my bike for a few weeks and went straight to back wheel first try and just sat there. Haven't thought about that in a while...

Fun bike man.. nice upgrades.. enjoy.

the piston is in the crossover area of the brake, you grab the lever, and it pushes the piston to cause the arms to push away from each other........

thanks man... yeah the front brake is a lil different than anything else out there. chris has it right, the fluid pushes the piston which pushes the arms apart. i guess it works ok, but it's not very adjustable if you have thick pads, no room. you have to take the piston assymbly and stuff off to adjust it with a collar that shortens or lengthens your pull.

Ah, the discussions on the pros and cons of Hydro V's.

Nice bike, if Riki can do it, so can you.

those hydro V's work well on the front - the linkages slop too much for rear use I think. I still have a pair around somewhere...the main problem is that the return spring arm is too short and slips underneath the notch on the brake arm - irritating !!

edit: I got mine from Ben Benny !!
