I know most freehub users run like 18-22t cogs in the rear with a 22t cog in front, but since the front freewheels are 18t its different right?

For all the FFW stock riders: What size gears do you normally use in the rear?

Lots of freehub users use more lke 20-18, 22-20/21 or so...18-15/16 is good.

EDIT: Like for when I am going places and have to travel far...

i think 18-15 should be plentiful power for light travelling.
I like 18-17 for natural and 18-16 for urban.

  5. WOW i run ffw on my Megamo and i found that 18-15/16 is wayyyyyyy to heavy a gear to run to hard to pedal, and i cant even pedal kick with that gear ratio i use 18-17 and Chris stephenson uses 16-15 so does Trevor BOHO lol all great riders used basically the same ratio they say that mine is a bit to easy well it works for me but its a great gear ratio !

and if you want to travel anything will work really try 18-12/18-11 super hard gears to go places ! im not sure if cassettes get any smaller then 11 or 10 but you can try to find something

I'm same as Bloodhound. 18-17 for natural, 18-16 urban. Then I'll pop it down to 18-11 for when I need to get somewhere.
