I'm going to try and hit Boulder this afternoon around 3:45 if anyone wants to join. late notice, but I only decided last night. I have to figure out how to ride my new bike
Is it going to be at Horsetooth or Poudre? I'm pretty sure it's going to snow tomorrow afternoon though.. I got one of Kevin's old DeSalvo frames, then got all new parts. I'll try and get a pic up this weekend. I actually made a little money off the insurance company. 15.75 chainstays, a slightly longer top tube than the 'production' DeSalvo frame, and a 12-15 mm BB drop. From the short time I've spent on it, it seems like it's going to be good frame. I just have to get my back brake to hold somehow. I'm used to the ceramic coating.. Might be time for a grind.
AAAAAAHAHAHAHAH old desalvo frames??? hes had them for like a month!? PS- some people don't care about snow. Not me though, i would never ride in the rain or snow- way too hardcore.
I think he's on his 3rd frame! He has one for competition which is super light, and the one I have was his "practice frame", which was 4.2 lbs. His latest and greatest DeSalvo has different geometry.. shorter stays, longer top tube I think. I'll log on tomorrow to see the latest on the group ride.. later..
dang, looks like i'm missing this one... i will need some sort of super bike... perhaps an xtp? yeah, maybe that will do the trick... doubtful.
