Always wanted one of these

Trek Y-five0
Thought this was gorgeous

Bicycle Tire Wheel Bicycles--Equipment and supplies Crankset

and this for sure

The Merlin Newsboy
Sold as a frame kit
Titanium retro looks coupled with modern mountain bike geometry
Sooo sexy

Bicycle Wheel Tire Bicycle wheel Land vehicle

and once trials came into my radar
And The Megamo Equippe pro 26
Guy I knew at Purdue had one. Duncan Kopp Richardson or something like that
It was awesome

I tend to dig the stuff that was new when I came into cycling

not much of the newer stuff makes me hot and bothered

post up some dream bikes or something

That’s gotta be Seattle or Portland
Somewhere in PNW
I remember seeing some crazy double and triple decker bikes

did you all ever have yellow bikes (the community share bikes) in Seattle?
That shit lasted like 10 minutes in Eugene

Damn!! That thing is proper built
They were ahead of the curve, integrated headset and such
I require more bike porn such as this
Please keep it coming

Love the single speed mod with the spoke through the derailleur.
For some reason stocks had to have 5 speeds at that time per the rules, so silly
So we’d toss on that road cassette that never got used

Where is here?
Retro bikes do kinda suck but at one time they were the new cool thing. It just brings back memories for me. Started riding mountain bikes in 94. Purple anodized everything, bar ends, suspension stems if you were lucky. I think the Rock Shox pinnacle of technology was the Mag10. Terrible but but good times.
Much like this site, it makes me nostalgic.
Post whatever you please, please.

Pretty nice
Looks suspiciously like my Canyon
Probably same frame manufacturer
Ebikes sound like a joke that’s funny
Until the same guy passes you three times on the same trail while climbing…

Fantastic
Same reason I love the Newsboy
I feel like this is an SE bike
What I really want to know is where to get those tires

I have a $10.00 Batman bike. Does that count?

Bicycle Wheel Tire Land vehicle Bicycles--Equipment and supplies

Bicycle Tire Wheel Bicycles--Equipment and supplies Bicycle tire

I owned two of these
Such a good riding bike
And light to boot
First one got stolen
Second one got destroyed over time
Linkage fasteners we’re Ti and came with a bushing and bearing rebuild kit
Lots of nice touches
And those were not decals, that was paint
Weight was about 27 lbs with a Z1 ont the front and Tioga 2.1 Route 66 tires , in 2000. Not bad.
