<double posted from SW section, edit what you will Bill > Eh, I didnt get too many great pics. Like I told Andrew, I was more interested in riding my new bike than taking pics, so only a few frantic pics, not Bill Johnson quality this time. Oh, and SEE THE LINKS to online albums at the bottom to see the rest of the pics, Im only posting a few here, I have to go. "Project Cool" did look pretty sweet in person Introducing my new PX (I turned the front tire around to the right way not 1 inute after this pic was taken, heh, and I changed my front cable that night) Seth making that rail gap he tried cracking his head on first (same gap Aaron snapped his chain and dented his down tube on) Aaron doing a more than handlebar height up to a more than double the up drop down You can barely see this, but it may give you an idea of how big this wall they were working on was Seth almost had it, sure he will next time Aaron cleared it a few times... ...but not without beefing it a few times, ahahaha MCall was pretty close himself While we were out at Grapevine lake my cam must have been left in manual mode, so the pics are grainy Kamil making a huge sidehop over a water crevace Aaron gapping to a rock on the other side of the crevace, one of the best moves I saw all day for some reason Scott Tucker being the Texarkanan pro he is and making this tree huck, was harder than it looks, but then again, I suck Sean making a gap that was pretty far (see the first photo album from downtown Dallas to see pics of Sean's new WI freewheel and tryall cranks, pretty schmeet setup, well, other than his BB, haha, kept coming loose) Aaron about to up Stan gapping Kamil working on this up Aaron making it up Painik (McAll) making the tree huck And then welcome to Purgatory, see the link to the movie below that shows a panaroma of the area, it was absolutely AWESOME. I dont know if you can tell, but a lot of these rocks were as wide and long as cars, so sweet. Plus it's all on a serious incline, not the easiest place to ride, but it's not supposed to be right. Panaroma movie (Quicktime needed): http://www.tarleton.edu/~daskins/videos/purgatory-01.mov Jack Edgington riding Perfect form and smooth as butta Kelly Pickrell Craaaaaaaaazy up by Aaron (see the following pic to know why) The up Aaron is pulling has this run up, loose rock on it plus pretty steep, steeper than the picture looks. I believe only Kamil and Aaron pulled it, McAll got pretty close Alright, now for the albums, Ill try to label more pics later: Downtown Dallas pictures: http://www.tarleton.edu/~daskins/Pictures/albums/Dallas03-05-04/page_01.htm Grapevine Lake and Purgatory pictures: http://www.tarleton.edu/~daskins/Pictures/albums/GrapevinePurgatory03-06-04/page_01.htm Link to the Purgatory panorama again: http://www.tarleton.edu/~daskins/videos/purgatory-01.mov Sorry I didnt get more and especially more of the other riders, there was a lot of awesome stuff going down. Enjoy, and everyone else get their media up!!!
