Don't I know that guy? Did he go to motorama in 2003? He knew what it was all about, that guy was great...pissed I can't remember his name.

Peter Hellenbrand. NATC Mod expert champion this year. And pretty much the one man biketrial midwest team at this point in time. Couldn't have done this comp without him.

We're definitely doing this again next year. It's always in the middle of september, so mark your calendars.

One thing that makes Baraboo so cool is that the mototrial guys have a pretty solid infastructure. They have a lot of sections built (we shared 3 of theirs and then built 2 just for biketrial). They get a pretty good number of visitors just to watch and they're very appreciative of what biketrial is all about.

Also on Saturday afternoon there's a big 'flatland freestyle' competition. Usually that's trials motorcycles doing tricks without any obstacles, being judged by the local boy scouts. Both last year and this year then let biketrial riders demo (though we weren't in the contest. Might work on that for next year..) and we were well received. We also worked it out so we rode the final section (at camp) 3 times starting at 4:00. That way our final section also worked as an exhibition, and when we were done competing on it then all the biketrial guys demo'd on that..

Immediately after that everybody gets as much steak and corn on the cob as you can eat.

It's a sweet deal, imo. Definitely on for next year..
