Ya! Beginner baby! I'm going!!!

hey theringer66, where do you live???

If I can get a roof rack bike rack + Joel's trunk mount I can probably bring four bikes total.

FUCKING CHEMISTRY. I have a chemistry test on Monday the 25th. Once again, chemistry ruins everything. So yeah, can't go but I'll go to the next comp that's around

Oh, by the way. Neko, you're too good for beginner. i'd say skip it and go to sport.

Dan,

Why dont you go with me and come back on saturday earlish? I might be able to borrow a car for that day. Dont let chemistry fuck you over.

Aki,
You are definitely a sport level rider. I rode sport last year at this time. I got wrecked, but it was better then beginer. I think we could do well in sport this year.

We can go two if John needs to come back early. We all should go...not saying education comes second but couple hours wouldn't hurt right

I was talking to my co-worker who goes up to Vancouver often and she said it's probably better to go mainland then on the ferry...she's supposed to get me detailed maps, etc.

Brad, you wouldnt be interested in coming back early would you? I have tentatively set to borrow my housemates car (tiny two door Acura) so I could probably fit three bikes and three people at most.

theringer66 = brad? Hey it's me Aki LOL. Well if you have a van I'll chip in for gas/ferry. It'll probably work out better if you can pack in five people. Whatever works best That's or whatever works.

um,. BLAZER's are cool and all, but we are talkin' expensive Ferry passage to get there, so the more we carpool, the better. We could even leave a vehicle on the Vancouver or Anacortes docks if needs be.

Hell, I was thinking of just rollin' down to the Victoria Clipper after work and getting a ride from someone local or meeting up with you guys in Victoria. If you are going early to Camp, that might work,.. I'm going to crunch cost vs. timetables now.

Whoa....ok looking at the map & the ferry schedule in every direction I don't see how we're going to make it without leaving a day before and coming back day after...does someone have a better idea?

Ok I guess there's a Ferry that goes from Port Angeles to Victoria that leaves @ 8:20am.

One hour to cross & the drive is approximately 30 miles north of there from Victoria which is about 30 minutes. We're really pushing the 10:30am start but we should be able to make it.

The last ferry leaves @ 4:00pm so we have to leave no later then 3:00pm...pretty tight schedule but if we want to do this in one day I think it's the only option we have...

yes, i feel very cool in my blazer...especially now that the horn doesn't work. as long as there's room enough somewhere in someone's car for my fat ass, i'll go whenever.

How long of a drive is it to the ferry landing on this side?

I'm starting to have doubts about this comp just because of the tight schedule...what do you guys think??? We can always plan for the one in Squamish...
