Itadori August 2007

Hello all,
I saw that there will be a round of the worlds bike trials held here in August in Itadori,Japan.
Where is Itadori? I have been looking on my Japan maps and have asked a couple of my Japanese friends and they dont know. Any help would be great. My next question is does anyone from Japan know of a trials bike shop (besides from Goldrush) in Japan? I live near Yokohama and was just curious too see if there might be something close to me.
Much thanks,12oz rebel

I'm pretty sure its about 1 hour or so away from Gifu, but I think they changed the name of the town to something else so thats prob why you cant find it on a map. That world round was nuts, out of the 7 I have been to Itadori was the best.

Anyone else booked for Japan? I'll be arriving on the 23rd. I'll be with the Colombian team riding Senior on an XTP2. It will be nice to meet any of you guys and maybe even go to a ride on Friday and Saturday.

I was gonna go but it was a last minute thing so ditched the idea or otherwise I would've been.

Peter (modtire) above is a cool guy to hang out. Give him a good swift kick in the ass for me

Just came back from Japan, all I have to say is OMFG! The Elite riders were just plain jawdropping, I have some pics and footage of the elites (Dani, Benito, Keita, Terai, Bartak, Iker, etc) competing and some other footage while we went on a training session with Benito, Iker Lezeta, and Abel Mustieles from Spain. Plain crazy and unmatched level! Also the top senior and Cadet are in par with the Elites....

I thought all of the sections were thought out very well and proved to be challenging for all. As far as spectating went you had to prestage each section and wait for your favorite riders to come through and then haul butt over to the next one. Im really glad I went and Ill be there next year.
Cheers,12oz
