First video in AUS. Some crazy virus from down under and a bad ankle have kept me off the bike more than I would like, but I still got a few lines that I am quite happy with.

Nice video man. Glad to see your enjoying what melbourne has to offer. What damage did you do in your crash? looks like you were almost out cold.

Where is the drain/creek section you were riding near the end?

Thanks! Just a badly sprained ankle - On crutches for a week and a half and still recovering more than 6 weeks later. Didn't really tag my head to bad actually.

"The drain" is in Camberwell, near Toorak Rd and Summerhill Rd. Pretty good spot for an after work ride.

Wow man! The edit is so creative and tastefully artistic. The moves are interesting, as is the switching of bikes. I thought there were two riders at first.... so yea, nice effect on that. Amazing overall video. Inspirational.

Awesome riding, your editing skills never disappoint either!

So what exactly was the injury? It looked like you landed on your left foot a little off-camber, rolling your ankle? Or the fall onto your back afterwards?

Either way, sorry to hear about your injury and illness.

Take care, man.

Jon,

Seriously, this is your best video to date. Amazing editing & really good riding. Loved all the footage of you on the Justice. Are you running a v brake on it?

Keep filming & thank you.

Damage was done on the original ankle roll. Some minor ligament damage (AKA grade 2 sprain). If you stop the footage right at the point of contact (as I did as soon as I got home - always nice to get crashes on film) you can see that the ankle bone nearly touches the ground. Nasty!

Thanks Drew. There is a v-brake on the front of the Slate and back of the Justice. Keeps the slate loud and the justice quiet which is exactly how I want them.

awesome, I've been thinking of getting an additional bike (think px Tibo), the trials is fun but not as fun as manuals and bunny hops used to be. Interesting lines, you really set out to make an entertaining edit and it worked! Get well and start filming again soon

Mine got drank. Mostly mixed with redbull - calling it a Chinese translation". I still have Toby's bottle sitting on my desk though .
