Here ya go. It has a trialtech fork on it now. And will have the new trialtech sport lite splined crank and freewheel setup in a few days.

I don't weigh my bikes anymore. It's a good way to make your hard earned cash disappear.

I'll agree it looks awkward and it'll feel wrong to someone who jumps on just to try it but... I think I've arrived to a setup here that works on that bike to be ridden its intended way. For visuals yes I'd like to pull the bars back but overall I'd be losing more than I gain.

Maybe get a lower, longer stem.

Oh right trials companies are stupid and nobody seems to consider that maybe the ridiculous bar angle is to make the front of the bike lower and longer.

And riders would have less problems hitting there chest on the stem so we could use a sensible 4 bolt bar clamp that works.

Mtb stems only go up to about 130mm and those are flimsy XC stems. I've spent some time looking and there ate not any goo options. I really think something like a 150x20 or maybe even less rise, then role your bars back a bit so your wrists don't die and you don't hit your chest so easily.

I use a Monty 160x24 stem with a high rise DH bar. The DH bar is because they have minimal up sweep so when i role them far forward it doesn't turn into forward sweep.

It is not a perfect setup. I wish the bar had more back sweep so they would have more up sweep when rolled forward and my set up is waaaaay to heavy for gram counting trials riders. I also hate the Monty stem (I don't like the sloped top cap, it comes with bolts that are too short, and I don't like the 2 bolt bar clamp.)

Yep I'm another "trials rider" (forum dweller) that constantly bitches about trials.

You asked for it..lol

I've included my mod, stock and street trials rigs and my the First WTF, which hasn't gotten a lot of use since I got it from Vaughn Michie in 08'..I might have a few too many trials rigs..lol
