The chain is so long it looks like the deraillure will start creeping up the back of the wheel.

the chain is long enough for a 48:21 gearing, the chainstay is 410, longer than my planet x pitbull so basically in my opinion it's crap, but might be good for some urban beginners

Looks like crap, geometry reflects its looks, plus you get the satisfaction of knowing that your bike sports the same brand as your local WALMART.

Huffy and Pacific.... I hate them. They don't belong anywhere near the trials world.

Look for a Mountain Bike Trials Action Show coming to a local retailer near you! featuring the Mongoose Hyundai Factory Pro trials rider Chris Clark and see the Transfer in action.

it's not such a bad thing, seems to be a step up from the veritas/tank trials bike. Comes with decent hubs

that's the strange thing. They went to the trouble of attaching a shifter mount on the tube 'cos they thought it'd be good for trials, but they put 407mm stays on it? WTF were they thinking :S Chris Akrigg rides for them too, incidentally. It's not particularly surprising for 'real' trials and comps he rides a de-stickered ZOO! Pitbull...

i know this is old news but...

I picked one up today at the BA Show trade day.. its not too bad. Components are decent, not too heavy. I mean its better than a lot of other bikes for that price, retails was $1329.

I think he picked one up to check the weight. He already has a bike.

which BA show Mitch? When's the next one? I was thinking of going but I suspect it's already gone this year...

I think the components are a pretty good base actually.

Joel,

The BA show is on at the moment, Mitch, Andy and Jo are doing demos this weekend if you are in that neck of the woods (Sydney). No, fortunately Mitch didn't buy the bike but I can say that he used two hands to "pick it up" off the floor.

I also "picked it up" and balanced on it. It feels fine for what it is. For riding non-competition trials it would probably be a decent enough bike, at least as good as a lot of the cheap bikes of yesteryear.

$1329 is a great price! way better than 800 for those POS rhinos...

Peace
