the only time a swooping maggie has actually hit me I was wearing a helmet. It grabbed a beakful of hair through one of the vents and flew away. Ouch. I was going at like 50km/h down a hill too.

When Mitch was down here for the Research comp a couple of years ago, Sharpie (The Junkyard Dog) got swooped. It put a hole in the foam of his helmet a couple of cm deep

Pretty funny.

I'll be quite honest...the helmet looks like crap to begin with, and there is no pattern to the holes...just kind of everywhere. So, I think it looks like shit.
You did say you were just pissing around, and I am just saying...Booo.

You know once you drill holes in you're helmet, and you kill yourself... sueing will do no good. Anyway... it looks like an old hockey helmet and it's seriously ugly. I mean that in a nice way.

did the foam come in multiple colors? or did you spray paint it?

i think it does need some semetry on the cuts... it might have some potential then.
good luck on the next attempt
