Well I finally snapped clean my 02 Monty X-lite... (driveside chainstay, GOONE!)

Problem is I haven't been keeping up to date with manufactures movements of late and would like to hear everyones opinions on what mod frame to buy to replace it.

I've got two options;

- Buy a standard 4-bolt frame and transfer all my existing parts over.

- Spend a little more and go a disc frame. (is Monty and Brisa the only one's doing this at the moment), [obviously i would then need to build a new disc friendly rear wheel and buy a new rear disc brake] but the money isn't an issue.

Has anyone had any experience with running dual disc on either the Monty or Brisa mod frames (or any other frame for that matter)?

Also any suggestions as far as which disc brake to go for, for the rear?...oh and any disc hubs that can be used with a fixed rear cog.

The longer frame (1033) is going to be quite different from your Monty but it's awesome once you get accustomed to it.

yeh, i have ridden a team (either 03 or 04 i dunno)

ive actually ridden, both the short and long versions....the long was really loooong!. felt very uncomfortable, short was great tho....

very tempted to go rear disc tho....
