Hey dudes, i just got a magura hs33 upgraded from a mechanical v brake. the brake is brand spankin new and i made it as tight as it will go but the lever still comes back almost to the handlebar and i cant cope with that...is there a way to make it tighter besides the dial on the lever?

dont use ANY tpa if you dont have to

loosen your clamps (im not sure if you have evo or 4-bolt but the concept is the same), and move the cylinders (aka the pads) closer to the rims, making sure they are square and flush. Tighten em up and voila. Keep moving inwards until your lever locks where it feels good.

let the tpa out all the way, then adjust the pads so they just clear the rim. when i first got mine they had a leak in one of the hoses, so i replaced it and rebled it and it made a huge difference. check for leaks.
