This was my first comp. I got 6th. It was great meeting many of you. I did not do quite as well as I would have liked, but I still had fun.

I blew out my back breaks on my first section (Fluid everywhere!)and finished it with two dabs. When my back breaks were fixed, some fluid got on my front disk so I pretty much had no front breaks. I can't blame it all on that though. Next year I will be better prepared.

Thanks to all the guys that did an awesome job of setting up and all the hard work that went into preparing everything that went into this event!

Jay sorry I missed you I had a booth in the vender area. But I am sure you saw my sons Martin rode a mod Monty and won the begginer class . Mathew rode stock Monty and finished last in his beg. class . His excuse was he snow boarded 2 days in a row and was sore . And he also did not feal well . Anyway if the weather is ok this Sat. do you have any good parks down by you ?

No problem - Congrats to Martin! That's awesome! I almost got him on film taking a pretty good fall during practice. I was only able to catch him brushing himself off.

I really havent found too many places to ride around here yet, but I'll look around this week. I just got my bike rack, so never really traveled around too much looking for spots. (I can come up your way too if you have some good spots.)

I met someone that lives in my neighborhood that has a trials bike, but knows nothing about trials. He wants to start learning. I also just got in contact with someone else that lives about 6 miles from me that wants to start geting together on a regular basis. His name is Shane and sounds like he has been riding for a while.

I'm pretty pumped to have a group of us that can ride together!
