Cheap light mod frame: monty, megamo...

I've got an monty 219 alp 2004 that weights a bit, about 24 pounds because the frame it's steel (I think the frame is about 7 pounds). I was thinking to change the frame in the future and I was looking for some information. A shop has offered me a new Megamo Rookie frame (they have very few and are for sale) for about 180$ and I don't know how much it weights and the quality of the frame (i think is the one of the pic)... I've seen megamo frames has the headset integrated, all the frames? I've also seen the wheelbase is quite short... it would be a good upgrade (weight, riding...)?
I was thinking about getting a cheap monty x-lite frame (perhaps from 2002 or 2003 to make it cheap) but some people say in forums that they break easily and i don't know what to think... are they so weak?
An actual monty hydra frame would have a nice weight and more resistant than the x-lite... it would be better?
could you tell me what do you think, please?

The megamos have a much better reputation for strength. I would choose it over any of the older montys
