$2500. Total in Pro Pruse, $1000. for Pro 20" and $1000. for Pro 26" and $500 for Pro/Expert SpeedTrials.

Tons of Prizes for all classes. 3 to 5 deep, depending on size of class.
July 17, #4 US Trials National event, all classes 20" and 26". One day National.
Sunday July 18, SpeedTrials, 2 classes. One for Pro's and experts and one for Sports and Beginners.

8:15am Volunteers meeting
9:00am Riders Meeting (All Riders must attend)
9:30am Start of comp for; (20") Bikes Elite, JR., Expert, Sport, Beg Trials
Comp time 3.5 hours
1:00pm Comp finished
12:45pm Riders Meeting (All Riders must attend)
1:00pm Comp Starts for; (26") Bikes Elite, JR. Expert,
Sport, Women's Open, Y1-2-3 Trials
Comp Time 3.5 hours
4:30PM Comp finish


Location: Harmon Park

Pre-registration: Saturday 6-8:30am Harmon Park

Pre-pre-registration: Friday 2-7pm Harmon Park



Directions: To the Observed Trials: From the junction of hwy. 62 and 23 in Eureka Springs (downtown entrance), take highway 23 north (AKA Planer Hill or Mud Street) into downtown. at approximately 1/2 mile, turn left on Spring Street. Follow it for approximately 1 mile to Harmon Park (on your right). Follow sings to parking, registration and competition area.

Pro/Elite Mod (19 & up) $45
Jr. Stock (16 to 18 yrs) $35
Jr. Mod (16 to 18 yrs) $35

Women's Open (15 & up) $35


Non-National AGES AND RACE CATEGORIES:
Sport Stock $30*
Sport Mod $30*
Beginners Open (16 & up) $25*
Y1: 13-15 years old $20*
Y2: 11 and 12 years old (Optional Class) $20*
Y3: 9 and 10 years old (Optional Class) $20*


*Includes one day NORBA race-licenses. $5 rebate if holding an annual NORBA license.

Must be 3 riders to make a class

FATTY PARADE

A new event this year, the Fatty Parade will be a non-competitive event everyone of all ages can take place in. The flat 1 mile course will be mtb police escorted from Harmon Park to the Auditorium. Staging begins at 5:30 pm at Harmon Park. We encourage everyone to dig deep into the recesses of thier bike collection and imagination to express thier individuality. There are many categories to enter under and prizes for the most unique and creative bikes in many. The parade will end at the Auditorium and the Fatty Pasta Dinner and Film Fest. Bike storage will be available. All bikes / vehicles / will need to have good working breaks and good working drivers.

Tandems: Prize for most people on a bike

Recumbants: Prize for lowest rider

Downhill: Prize for heaviest bike

Trials / Flatlander / BMX: Prize for best trick while parading through town

Most unique bike / machine: Prize for " "

Best bike costume: Prize for " "

Best bike float: Prize for " "

Team: Ride with your team

Club: Ride with your club

Other Human Powered Vehicles: Skateboard / Rollerblades, etc.

General Public: Just be present and ride with the masses.

FAT TIRE FILM FEST

The Fatty Film Fest is a celebration of cycling that follows the Fatty Parade and Pasta Dinner. The Fatty Film Fest will start at the City Auditorium at approximately 6pm and run through approximately 11pm. the Auditorim is a turn of the century newly remodelled facility that will offer an incredible one-of a kind environment for viewing rad footage. DH and Observed Trials awards will take place at 8pm. This event is free and open to the general public. Also there will be pre-registration for the following day's XC event.

To the City Auditorium

From the junction of hwy. 62 and 23 in Eureka Springs (downtown entrance), take hwy. 23 north into downtown, (AKA Planer Hill or Mud Street) approximately 1/2 mile. The race start and registration will be on you right next to the city auditorium. Follow sings to parking and shuttle areas.

Don't forget, SpeedTrials on Sunday. We are planing on setting a fun course for everyone, Sport level to Pro level. This should be a lot of fun for all. I will get an update about the course in the next few days.
