MOAB April 29th thru May 6th

This is NOT a comp, but several riders from different states are starting to show interest, so I decided to start a new thread.

A few of us will be driving from Texas and camping/riding in Moab. Anyone is welcome to meet us there. You can camp at Sand Flats Recreation Area or along the river.

We know of a couple premium spots and I can post pictures later.

Moab is only two hours from Durango, so I'm in.

Ateam you might be on to something. Durango NATS is on May 28th though...

I'm in for a few of the days anyway, probably friday through monday. I'll be bringing trials bike and SS rigid mountain bike so I don't know about porcupine rim, but I will be raging slickrock for sure.

I might be in for some MTB riding and camping. Porcupine rim on a rigid bike sounds like fun, let's go!

Looks like I have the 29th and 30th off of work, so I'll probably head out on the 28th, then come home the evening of the 30th. I have yet to ride Porcupine rim, so that would be nice to do. If anyone will be out there for those days to ride, hit me up.

Paul

I would bring at least 2-3 tubes if you're riding a rigid!

I think we arrive on Saturday the 30th in the early afternoon. We will probably set up camp first thing, so Porc Rim is probably out of the question for us.

We will have to trade some phone numbers before we leave next week.

I talked a guy at work into going along today. So there will be at least two of us, maybe a third. We'll probably camp in Fruita on Thursday night since it's free, then travel to Moab Friday.

Pretty sure I am NOT going to make this after all. Finals the following week and I really want to make it to Krug park the following weekend.

Though, I won't rule it out entirely.

I live in Denver, so probably taking the direct route of 70. Jeep might be full at this point. There may be 3 of us, which is pretty packed.

I'll be in Moab from about the 29th to the 3rd or 4th. Planning on ridin porcupine, and doing a little moto and bike trials as well. Exact schedule is up in the air, but hopefully it works out so that I can ride P Rim with some other trials riders.

This is shaping up to be the new western states OTN days. I'll be there Wednesday 27th to Saturday morning, I might ride some trials in town at night during the week if anyone is interested.
