Good ride everyone. Glad I wiped 6 months of dust off my bike to join. Big ups to Derrick for showing me how its done, you were way to stoked at all times about everything. Ill ride with you anytime.

Bring up some of your genetically enhanced water next time for us. Bend riders are far too talented. I shall pay for it with a jaunty showtune of your choice.

Yeah, it was a blast! It finally convinced me to throw a riser on my mod and HOLY SHIT it's amazing now, which is partly why I haven't edited any video yet – it's been too much fun to put down. I can't say leaving my camera in the corner recording was a great idea, but hopefully there are some decent clips and stills from this mountain of footage. Ugh.

Just a heads up, Derik and I are trying to work out another Portland trip in the next couple weekends, I'll post the details once Derik works them out with Shaun.

Looking for an excuse to get some group rides in?

I'lll be in Portland sometime in the next couple weeks. I don't have any dates set just yet, but I was wondering if anyone was interested in riding while I'm there?

Let me know when you're in town, and I can show you my usual trials loop!

Great ride yesterday, guys!

Glad to hang out and ride with other trials riders instead of going it alone. Reminds me that I need to push myself instead of doing the same stuff I've always done.

See ya next time!

Hey all, I just moved from Chicago to Portland. I rode trials a couple years back, but fell out of it for a while. I've been wanting to get back on the horse, and I figure a new town is as good a push as any. While it could use a tuneup, I have my bike with me. Looking to see who else rides in the area, if any meetups happen, where the best spots to ride are, etc.

Check out Ira Keller fountain downtown, really fun urban spot. There are also a couple other good fountain/plaza spots a few blocks south of Ira Keller.

Hey handiman! Check out PSU, Waterfront (SW Ankeny & Naito, don't ride weekend days due to Saturday Market), Lovejoy Fountain, Ira Keller as Ross mentioned, and Vera Katz (east side of the river). NE 52nd and Alberta has a great skatepark with fun trials features near it (i.e., a playground). PSU and the Waterfront are my favorites in summer though.

I ride more BMX now then I used to, but I'll be back in Portland near the end of March for some riding!

Oh - thanks for the heads up! Here's hoping for some nice weather!

Now, if I can suddenly get back up to riding shape and ditch this Flu virus - and lose 20 years off my age!
