i was kinda surprised when you posted that you were going to ride over there!
I think the only time it takes less than two hours these days is between the hours of 2am-4am

unless you are on a moto

I think it will be a couple weeks before they fully open the road, and I ain't driving until then!!

Matt uses Identiti Tuning Fork 395mm a-to-c.
I use a FireEye Stoker 435mm a-to-c.

Both are full heat-treated cromoly and are reviewed well in the jump/street/park forums in their time, and both are rare. There seems to be a few retailers that carry the Identiti, but they are all UK based. Nobody carries the FireEye anymore as far as I can tell.

Identiti rebate are reviewed well too but is 465mm a-to-c.

You might be able to find DMR Trailblade more frequently, but word on the street is that only the earlier models were heat-treated. The later ones are prone to bending. Not sure how to tell the difference.
Thanks for all the great info Sk8dad!

The Identiti Rebate is also available in 425. A bit tall, and longer offset than might be desired for a comp bike. I just grabbed one for a street-trials rig at work.

Actually it's supposed to stop by 5pm ish. I will go. It's not that I don't like riding in the rain. I don't like the maintenance required after a significantly wet ride. Anyone else going to the bike party? I'm taking the Zebdi.

haha, yeah, i'm getting the feeling (like from watching all the folks trying to get back to san jose last weeknd) that most of you flat-landers haven't been watching what's happening in the mtns!

all of the little roads people use to get around hwy 17 are closed with mudslides and wash outs. 17 is down to one lane in each direction, and with the rain that's going on now through the wknd, it will probably close!
don't try to come to santa cruz!

but I will probably be riding the harbor if it stops raining long enough.
