We had a good ride. They have a public park with amphitheatre seating that is great to play on.

Most Excellent. I was considering going this Sunday, but the weather is actually supposed to be pretty nice, so I think we will ride outdoors here. I will let you know the next time I am headed to Ray's.

Cool, I wish I could make it up on Sunday, but it's my son's BDay. We're headed to Ray's on the 22nd after work. Meet @ 6ish.

I should be able to make it, I will see if I can get Zach to come also. We may as well move this to the Ray's MKE thread...

I've only been riding a year, but made sure to look up other local riders to learn from and ride with. Join us!

I am in Fitchburg, just South of MadTown. I've never taken a bike with me to Devil's lake, but hike and climb there often. There are lots of spots if you want to hike-a-bike in, I suppose.

Devils lake looks good from the pics I've seen. I'll probably head up there when the weather is better and scope it out.
So who lived in the Atwood Schenk neighborhood in Madison and shreaded? I've been riding around and I've noticed some trials marks on the walls and rocks (biu style). At first I only noticed them on small stufff but then I rolled up to an old ~48" loading dock with a sketchy run up and they were all over the place. If this person went up this thing to rear they pretty much own. To bash isn't too shabby either.
Anyway, anybody want to ride?

I climb at devils lake a decent amount, most areas of the rock are extremely sharp and slick. There could be some areas that might work but another issue would be that biking is not allowed off the designated trails and trials brakes are notoriously loud. There might be some areas off the backsides of the bluff where there are boulders that could work but I have not been back there before.

Hey how's it going? I actually don't live in Madison anymore, unfortunately. I graduated from UW and now live in Cincinnati.

Zach and I are headed down to Madison for the "Six Pack Single Track" on Saturday April 21st. We were thinking of riding trials in Madison Sunday the 22nd. Any of the Madison crew up for a group ride?
