I could be there, if I had a ride. This living car free is getting old. If I had a car, I would be at all these events! People plan on going with me, but always decide not to go at the last minute, so I quit talking to that prick. People from Pueblo---- fucking idiots.

I have no classes on Friday and nothing to do until Monday. Get paid on Friday, have extra spending money, have camping equipment, cooking equipment, and a fucking Chef.

I would have to take a greyhound, box my bike, pay extra for the bike, find a bike box. There is literally no way for me out of Pueblo, this godforsaken place. It makes sense that there is no way out of here- Colorado likes to keep the people from Pueblo, in Pueblo.

thats not good, if you can find a way to get further north I would be more than happy to drive up to the comp, heading down to peublo might be pushing it for me though, almost doubles the drive. . . let me know if your able to work anything out

It would double your drive, which sucks. From here, its a straight drive to Salida, and up in to Vista.

This fall I am buying a car- I have had enough of askin for rides, taking buses, and all that jazz.

Josh are ya gonna go to this?

I get off at 3 on Friday. How about you? It would be nice to meet up and ride with the Ft Collins boys and then camp with them. What do you think about that?

EDIT: It is about a 2 hour drive from Buffalo Creek to Buena Vista so we would have to leave early Sat morning which I'm OK with but maybe just camping out and riding in BV is a better idea? Or we could all ride in Buffalo creek, then drive the rest of the way that evening and camp out in BV.

If you have time Robbie, I would ride Buff. Creek. Even riding there for an hour is worth it- Epic Rocks.

Trials site is open to primative camping, I'll be there Friday night (I think), way more rocks than I can string ribbon on, so plenty of riding there as well. Clear Creek Reservoir 1 mile South, Twin Lakes and Mt Elbert Forebay just North and West, Arkansas river right there for fishing types.

Call if you have questions, 719,two3nine,one234

Liter, sorry about your transportation woes, hope something works out.

Great, I've been asked to work on Saturday morning. Not gonna be able to make it now. What a freaking bummer. Mr Shenry, thanks for offering a lift anyways, I appreciate it. I've got to make one of these.

thats a bummer! you should tell them you have more important things to do saturday morning. . .

Robbie, I was thinking about trying to maybe head up to BV for the night, it would be nice to be up there in the morning and i would rather drive at night anyhow. what time were you guys thinking of hitting up Buffalo Creek, and where is that exactly??

Also, has anyone heard from butters about this one? We need to convince him to come!

Man that is a bummer I really wish you could make this Jason I wanna ride with you!

This might be a dumb question but you can't just say, "No, I already made plans to attend a bike event on Saturday" ?

Yea I think getting to BV that night is better. Buff Creek is a little ways off 285 after you get outside the Denver area. It really is an epic spot.

If you look up AndyT's "Vincent in CO" there is some amazing footage of Vincent destroying Buff Creek. I watch the one from 05 before rides to amp me up.

Edit: Found it: 3:50 is where Buff Creek starts

That doesn't look like Buffalo Creek at all... Looks more like Horsetooth in Ft Collins, which is where I ride almost everyday.

Here's Aran Cook's video from last year. The terrain is much different that what Vincent is riding in that video.

Planning on coming down. Not sure yet if we will camp or just make a day trip. Saw the doctor today, she says that I can ride my bike on non technicle roads, where there is little chance of falling, two more months before I can ride technicle trails. Possibly more surgery at the years end. My interpertation of this is that I'm good to go for beginner class. Would that be bad form??

well, the way you ride i would say your good to ride sport, you never fall anyhow! plus maybe if your all busted up I might stand a chance! It should be a fun comp, a buddy of mine who does a lot of film work will be coming, im hoping to convince him to bring his camera along and get some coverage. looking forward to riding with everyone.

If anyone needs a last minute ride, i still have some space (one spot available) and will be leaving from Louisville around 1 or so on friday but am very flexible. we will be coming home saturday night it sounds like. Just let me know asap and we can make arrangements. Ill check on here before we head out.

Robbie/Foco group - any idea what time you are headed up or when you will be riding buffalo creek, we would love to join you.
